Adell West Yoes

Adell West Yoes, 94, of Searcy passed from this life Monday, May 19, 2014. She was born August 5, 1919 to the late Johnny and Cecil Edens Flippo in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas.
She was a member of Valley Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Franks (Charles) of Searcy, Norma Sue Mize (Kenny) of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Kay Carter of Searcy; one son, Ray West (Jean) of Searcy; six grandchildren, Connie Reed (Randy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kim Lathum of Sherwood, Arkansas, Don Carter (Sherry) of Searcy, Greg Franks (Kim) of Huntsville, Alabama, Tony Carter (Margie) of Searcy, Kevin West (Camilla) of Nacogdoches, Texas; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Carl Flippo of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; two sisters, Alene Birdsong of Fort Worth, Texas and Nadene Woodyard of Batesville, Arkansas; special friend and caregiver, Marilyn Stewart.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lucille Clark and one brother, Burnell Flippo.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with interment following at White County Memorial Gardens.
