Alice Lorene Mitchell

Alice ‘Lorene’ Mitchell, 95 of Searcy Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025. She was born on May 19, 1929 in Gould, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William and Julia Talmonia Riggs Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Herbert ‘Denny’ Mitchell; daughter, Donna Michau Hendershot; grandson, Randy Michau and daughter-in-law, Diane Derks Mitchell.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Mitchell (Nancy) and Wesley Mitchell and daughter, Judy White (Bill). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Lorene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She retired from Arkla-Gas in Morrilton. She was a long-time member of Cloverdale Church of Christ in Searcy, Arkansas, a devoted Christian and follower of Jesus Christ.

Services will be held at Searcy- McEuen Funeral Home Chapel, 2616 South Main Street, Searcy on Wednesday April 30, 2025. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment at White County Memorial Gardens.
