Alta Marie Sewell

Alta Marie Sewell, 84, of Searcy, passed from this life Wednesday, December 21, 2011. She was born December 21, 1927 in Searcy to the late Asa Williams and Florence Williams Holden. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sewell was preceded in death by her husband, William Carroll Sewell; and two sons, William Carroll Jr. "Skip" and Myron Lee Sewell and two grandsons, Jerry Taylor and Johnny Lynn.

Those left to cherish her in memory are her sons, James Lynn (wife Betty), Vic Junkthurth (wife Tracy) DJ Junkthurth (wife Tina), Wally Sewell (wife Leola), Perry Sewell (wife Lorraine), Farron Sewell (wife Trish), Arnold Sewell (wife Anita); daughters, Brenda James (husband Tom), Twylia Rolland (husband Willie), Freda Bradford (husband Harold) and Eva Fontenol (husband Darrell); one sister, Carolyn Davis; thirty-one grandchildren, fourty-eight great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren, a beloved friend, Shirley Marshall, as well as other relatives and friends whom will deeply miss her.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 26 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
