Alvis Emmet Moore

Alvis Emmet "Pete" Moore, 91 of Kensett, Arkansas passed away on May 4, 2009. Alvis was born February 17, 1918 to the late W.J. and Katie (Brown) Moore.
Alvis is survived by his wife, Ada Beatrice(McDonald) Moore of Kensett, AR; his children; Larry Moore and his wife, Judy of Russellville, AR., Dennis Moore and his wife Marlena of Ludowici, GA. and Terry Moore and his wife Elizabeth of Petal, MS.; one brother, J.D. Moore of Los Angeles, CA.; two sisters Opal Boston of Fort Smith, AR, and Goldie Rainwater of Palmdale, CA.; five grandchildren, Dawn Bosowski, Matt Moore, Darla Moore, Renee Moore and Toby Hopper; also seven great grandchildren; He is also survived by many other relatives and a host of friends all of which will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home of Searcy, AR.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett, Arkansas.
Interment will follow in the Kensett Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett or to the White County Medical Center in Searcy.
