Andrew Metchum Featherston

Andrew Metchum Featherston, age 90, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away August 8, 2024. He was born in Quincy, Indiana on January 29, 1934 to the late Vester and Ina Flo Featherston. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Featherston.

Andrew was a veteran who served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958 spending 13 months in Korea. He retired from Samuel Bingham where he worked for 30 years. He was a christian man and a member of Spring Valley Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Berta Geneva Featherston; son, Steve Featherston and wife, Stacy; 2 grandchildren, Aaron Featherston (Vanessa) and Allex Jolliff (Miles); 6 great-grandchildren, Riley Jo Featherston, Harper Featherston, Oakley Featherston, Able Featherston, Wyatt Jolliff and Myla Jolliff; and 2 nieces, Rosalind Carter and Anita Gifford

A graveside service will be held at Taylor Cemetery in Searcy on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
