April Dawn Tounzen

April Dawn Tounzen, 44, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 25th. She was born November 23, 1977, in Blythville, Arkansas.

April was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved helping and caring for others. She was a natural caregiver, tender hearted and compassionate. April loved to work and always gave it a hundred percent. She was very dependable and always aimed to please. Her heart was for her boys and spending time with her family. April especially enjoyed spending her time with her nieces and nephews. April liked joking around and having fun. She was a member of Revival Church of Searcy. Although she had many struggles in life, she always loved and sought after the Lord. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend who will truly be missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Dakota Powell (Maribeth Glover) of Conway, and Marverick Tounzen of Searcy; her parents, John, and Donna Franks of Searcy; two sisters, Carrie Brown (Joey Davis) of Searcy, and Megan Guin (Nathan) of Carthage, Texas; two brothers, John Franks (Brianne) of Alexander, Arkansas, and Philip Franks of Shelbyville, Kentucky; one soon to be granddaughter, Rosalie Powell and one grandson, Thomas Stevens.
April was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Tounzen; her maternal grandparents, James, and Jenny Hayes; and her paternal grandparents, Winfred, and Ruth Tounzen; and one cousin who was like her brother, Kevin Hayes.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 pm, Sunday, November 28th at Revival Church of Searcy.
Funeral services will start at 3:00 pm, Sunday, November 28th at Revival Church of Searcy with Pastor Danny Whitley and Associate Pastor Timothy Wachtstetter officiating. Pallbearers will be Robby Noland, Austin Noland, Blake Noland, Barry Allen, Josh Loyd, and Darrin Lloyd.
Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 29th at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Pastor Danny Whitley and Associate Pastor Timothy Wachtstetter officiating.
All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
