Avinell Miles

Avinell (King) Miles 86, of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord July 30, 2008. She was born in Sunnydale, Arkansas on November 10, 1921 to the late Ivey Lee and Lorilla (Jones) King. She was married to the late R.H. (Red) Miles on January 1, 1951.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Madge Marie Sterling.
Avinell helped with the World War II effort by working in the San Diego, CA. shipyards. She was also the owner of Lure cafe' in Searcy for over 14 years. Avinell was also a retired employee of the J.C.Penny's.
Avinell is survived by one step son, Larry Rex Miles (Phoebe) of Houston, TX.; one brother Marvin King of Sunnydale, AR.; three step grandchildren; five great step grand children and many nieces and nephews. Also, a host of friends.
Interment will follow at Center Hill Presbyterian Cemetery, Center Hill, Arkansas.
