Barbara Ann Powell

Barbara Ann Powell, 58, of Searcy passed away Monday, June 19th at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born March 6, 1959 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Owen and Juanita (Lovitte) Doss.

Barbara attended Searcy Faith Assembly of God. Barbara always put others first. She was a quiet person who never wanted credit for what she did. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish Barbara’s memory is her husband, Tony Powell; one son, Jacob Powell (Tiffany); one daughter, Ashley Tempel (Jason) all of Searcy; one stepson, Jesse Powell of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Ava and Logan Powell and Cadence and Creed Tempel; two brothers, James Barlow (Betty) of Texas, Larry Doss of Searcy; two sisters, Louise Neal of Kensett, and Mary Doss of Searcy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Doss; sister in-law, Rocky Doss and niece, Betty Doss. 

Visitation will be Friday, June 23rd from 6:00-8:00pm at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 24th at 10:00am at Searcy Faith Assembly of God with Pastor Brian Mize officiating.

All services have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
