Betty Jean Brackenridge

Betty Jean Brackenridge, 73, of Searcy died December 25th, 2011 at Advanced Care Hospital of White County. She was born December 2, 1938 in Wardell, Missouri to the late Hertes and Alma Kincade Turner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Hershel, Robert, Randy, and Ronnie Turner.

She loved the Lord, and was a member of the Revival Church. In her free time she liked to cook, sew, and work in her garden.

She is survived by her husband; Verlie Brackenridge of 54 years, three daughters; Rhonda Muce, Darlene Flynn (husband Sam), and Elonda Chaney (husband Ed) all of Searcy, four brothers; Jack, Johnny, Donald, and Dawayne Turner all of Missouri, three sisters; Pat Bailey, and Linda Lamaster of Missouri, and Shelby Brackenridge of Searcy, and five grandchildren; Wendy, Jason, Johnathan, Jennifer, and April, and 4 great-grandchildren; Kaleb, Cameron, Sammy, and Michelle.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday December 28 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Georgetown Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
