Betty Sue Crawford

Betty Sue (Cook) Crawford, 82, of Searcy, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born July 14, 1942 in Russell, Arkansas to the late Sidney Cook and Bertha (Adams) Cook. Sue traveled around the United States, lived in 16 different states, and some twice. She has flown in and out of almost all major airports across the country and enjoyed getting to see the country. 

She is survived by her grandsons, Jesse Cross and Cody Cross; a sister, Beulah (Cook) Thomas; 36 nieces and nephews and too many to count great and great-great nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Crawford; son, Farrell Wayne Cross; siblings, James Cook, Lavern (Cook) Sturch, Leon Cook, Lee Cook, Carthel (Cook) Engel, Loriece (Cook) Moser, Ben Cook, and Auston cook. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Park Avenue Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Lunceford officiating. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Park Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund.
