Betty Louise Sterling

Betty Louise(Huffman)Sterling, 78, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. She was born May 26, 1929 to the late Jessie Lee Cupp and Betty May Webb Cupp. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of New Beginnings. She was preceded by her first husband of fifty years, Henry C. Huffman.

She is survived by her husband, Willie Everett Sterling of Searcy, four sons, James Huffman (Esther) ,Valentine Huffman (Sharon), and Eldon "Buddy" Huffman (Tanya) all of Searcy, John Huffman (Cindy) of Pea Ridge, six daughters, Claudine Huffman of Bald Knob, Modean Bowerman of Judsonia, Minnie Mooney, Romona (Larry) Carter, Marie (David) Minyard all of Searcy and Penny (Bob) Whitt of McRae. Four brothers, Robert and Roy Cupp of West Helena, Jim Cupp of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jessie Cupp of Heber Springs. Four sisters, Velma Sissel of Bakersfield, California, Daisey Brassel and Hazel George of Tupelo, Mississippi, Mary Nichols of Searcy. Twenty Grandchildren, forty three Great-grandchildren and five Great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in the Mt. Pisgah Community. Services have been entrusted to the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
