Bill Ellis

Bill Ellis Sr., 73, of Searcy passed away Friday, June 13, 2014. He was born July 27, 1940 to the late Homer and Mildred Yarbrough Ellis in Trumann, Arkansas.
Bill treasured his family and loved his church. Bill also enjoyed traveling. He and Pat traveled many miles together. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pat Ellis; one son, Billy Ellis (Nicole) of Searcy; one daughter, Donna Cleveland (Tim) of Searcy; three grandchildren, Tiffany Barrentine (Brandon), Rachel Shourd and Ninoska Cleveland; and one great granddaughter, Bralee Barrentine.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer and Gene Ellis; and one sister, Mary Conatser.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 at Trinity Baptist Church with interment following at Gum Springs Cemetery.
