Billy “Bill” Ray Fife, 81, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, on Friday, July 12th at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 21, 1943, in Pomona, California to the late Ray and Jackie (Cole) Fife.
Bill was a member of Temple Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a huge Arkansas Razorback fan. However, his favorite pastime was hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Virgie Fife; one son, Dan Fife (Marti) of Conway, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Shelby Brawn (Diego) of Nashville, Tennessee, and Anna Kay Harp (Austin) of Conway, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren, Alex Ray Harp, Baylor Harp, and Leo Brawn; one sister-in-law, Linda Fair of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and one brother-in-law, Ken Uttley of McRae, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one son, John Nathan Fife.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16th at Temple Baptist Church.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 16th at 2:00 pm, at Temple Baptist Church, 700 West Moore Ave, Searcy, AR 72143
All Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
