Blanch Marie Lewis, 74, of Searcy, died May 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born August 4, 1937 in Searcy to the late James and Inez Bittle Nelson.
Mrs. Lewis worked for the White County Assessor's office and was a member of the Westview Missionary Baptist Church. She loved fishing, painting and reading a good book. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Nelson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Redus Lewis of the home; one son, Shawn Hill of Memphis; step son, Steve Lewis of Hot Springs; one daughter, Patty Hill of Floyd; two step daughters, Tanya Huffman of Searcy and Angela Mitchell of Judsonia; three grandchildren, Shawn Hill, Marcus and Kasey Morningstar; and one sister, Debbie Blocker of Pensacola, Florida.
Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at White County Memorial Gardens.
