Bobby Lee Eady, 81, of Judsonia, passed from this life December 6, 2012 at Oakdale Nursing Home. He was born August 24, 1931 in Providence to the late Willie and Wanda Robbins Eady.
Mr. Eady joined the Army in 1953 and served two years in Korea and Japan. He was always a caring, compassionate person, always putting others before himself.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Eady; and one sister, Glenda Eady.
He will be forever cherished by those surviving, including his wife of fifty-seven years, Violet Crawford Eady; one son, Eddie Eady; two daughters, Charlotte Harrison and husband Carlton, and Pam Simpson and husband Phillip; one sister, Ramona Godfrey and husband Vernice; six grandchildren, Justin, Stephanie, Jeremy, Chris, Alex, and Austin; and three great-grandchildren, Mya, Kaydence, and Austin.
Relatives and friends may visit at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 8. A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Kensett Cemetery where burial will follow.
