Brian Scott Myers, born November 25, 1963 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Ken and Nancy Myers, left this world to forever be with his Lord and Savior March 14, 2023. Through the Divine providence of God via Mexico, Brian came to Searcy, Arkansas for the first time in August 1981 to visit Christian Fellowship Church during their annual convention. In his own words, because of this visit “my life would never be the same.” He moved to Searcy in 1990 and the following year married LaJanna Faulkner. He spent the next almost 32 years loving her unconditionally and making her laugh.
Brian loved Jesus and his family and friends including his church family. He was raised to be a Godly, Christian man, and he strove to do just that. He was large man physically, but his heart was larger. He was always willing to help anyone that needed it. God blessed Brian with a very intelligent, problem-solving mind, and a crazy sense of humor. His greatest joy was his son Ronnie Garrett Myers. He loved being a father, and was so proud of the young man Ronnie has become. Brian was blessed watching God use his son to bless others.
Brian was preceded in death by all his grandparents, two brothers-in-law Jerry Faulkner Jr and Kelly Doyle, and one aunt, Marian Flokstra.
Left to cherish and miss him are his wife, LaJanna Myers, his son Ronnie Myers, his parents Ken and Nancy Myers, his mother and father-in-law Jerry and Shirley Faulkner, his brother Ken Myers (Keri), two sisters, Lynnae Hicks (Bryan) and Renae Doyle, and one special sister-in-law Amy Faulkner, 7 nephews and 8 great nephews and nieces, uncle Willis Flokstra, Aunt Joan Melnykowicz (Bob), two cousins and close friends Daniel and Tana Spitale, and a host of others too many to count!
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Friday, March 17, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at the Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in the Center Hill Presbyterian Cemetery.
