Cecil H. Jones

Cecil H. Jones Jr., 84, of Searcy, died July 21, 2012 at White County Medical Center. He was born September 12, 1927 in Missouri. Mr. Jones had several trades during his life; he was a police officer, security guard, carpenter, and most proudly, a minister in which he was a part of the Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-nine years, Marilyn Gilreath Jones of the home; two sons, Darrell Jones of Fisher, Arkansas and Jerry Jones of the home; and one sister-in-law, Mary Alice Jones.

Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Shady Grove Cemetery.
