Cheryl (Cheri) Jean Limon age 70 of Rose Bud Arkansas, sadly left us Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was born September 19, 1953 in Oxnard, California. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Theodore (Ted) Limon; three sons, Abe Limon and wife, Lesa Limon of Rose Bud, AR, Jonathan Limon of Glendale, CA, and Jake Limon and wife, Anna-Claire Limon of Madison, MS; as well as, five grandchildren; Tiffany, Ashley, Emma, Willow, and Lincoln Limon.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Allen, mother, Marilynn Dowler and brother, Bill Allen.
Cheri worked as a waitress at The Rambler Grill in Rose Bud AR for years, becoming owner in 2006. In her 20 years at The Rambler Grill, she became a key staple in the community. Cheri was devoted not only to the restaurant and her family, but her customers and staff, greeting, treating and loving them all like family. After stepping away from The Rambler Grill at the end of 2020 Cheri continued working full-time as a front-end cashier in Heber Springs, AR Wal-Mart where she continued to treat customers and co-workers like family. Cheri also substituted at Rose Bud school district on her days off so that she could see her grandchildren as much as possible. While the family is saddened by the loss of “Mom” and “GiGi” they rejoice in knowing that she can finally rest.
Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Rose Bud Assembly of God with services to follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Rose Bud Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
