Chleo E. Mitchell

Chleo E. Mitchell, age 93 of Pangburn died Sunday, September 29, 2008. He was born June 4, 1915 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late James Clarence Mitchell and Sena Pankey.

He proudly served in the United States Army. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He loved any activity regarding the outdoors.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Wayne (Sally) Mitchell and Roger Dale (Kathy) Mitchell both of Indianapolis, Indiana; three daughters, Joyce Chambers Quattlebaum of Pangburn, Jerrie (Tommy) Tharp and Carolyn (Pete) Vanwinkle both of Searcy; his wife Peggy and three step sons; one sister Pauline Finley of Smyrna, Georgia; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mae Mitchell; one son and one daughter and one sister.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM., Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn, Arkansas
