Dee Windle Thomas, 79, of Searcy went to be with his Lord and Savior December 27th at White County Medical Center. He was born February 5, 1934 in Damascus, Arkansas to the late Delmer and May Evans Thomas.
He was a gentle, kind man who was loved by all who knew him. He was a great inspiration to his family and loved them with all his heart. He was a Master Mason at the Searcy Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith and served as a Deacon and a Sunday school teacher much of his life. He worked for Colonial Bread Company for over 40 years. He loved spending time with his family. He also loved to hunt, fish, and antique.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dimple Thomas; one son, Mike Thomas and wife, Terri of Beebe, Arkansas; one daughter, Chrystal Rayburn of Searcy; nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Candy Thomas Clevenger.
Family and friends may visit 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday, December 29th at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29th in the funeral home chapel with interment following at Providence Cemetery.
