Dolly Powell

Dolly Dimple Powell, 81, of Oppelo Arkansas went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 24^th at Conway Regional in Conway. She was born June 17, 1941, in Joy, Arkansas to the late Orbrey and Bertha (Ogwin) Wortham.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Slaughter of Georgetown, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tasha Thornton of Virginia, Cody Thornton of California, Chance Thornton of New Jersey, Allissa Newberry, Chad Slaughter, and Emily Slaughter; eight great grandchildren, Seth McVay, Tristan Ball, Roman Thornton, Amira Thornton, Waverly Thornton, London Thornton, Josie Burch, and Lucas Boerjan; three brothers, Danny Wortham, Achel Wortham, and Curtis Wortham; two sisters, Pat Williams, and Irene Terry.

In addition to her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by one daughter, Joy Thornton; one son, Pete Slaughter; four brothers, Dale, Roger, Merle, and Doyle Wortham; and two sisters, Judy McNeal, and Fayrene Allen.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM, Friday, May 26th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 26^th in the Searcy McEuen Chapel with interment following at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
