Donald Ray McGuire

Donald Ray McGuire, 66, of Pangburn passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born October 9, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee to Marvin McGuire and the late Betty (Byrd) McGuire.

Don was a member of the Airport Loop Church of Christ. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was an avid fisherman who loved wood working as well. He loved sharing his wood creations with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 30 years, Brenda McGuire of Pangburn; two sons, Kevin Rooney (Mendi) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Greg Rooney (Amy) of Ferndale, Arkansas; one brother, Dale McGuire (Ida) of Indiana; two sisters, Karen Bottomley (David) of Indiana, and Jeannie Vonderheide (Lee) of Iowa; two grandchildren, Ella and Lyla Rooney; seventeen nieces and nephews; and nineteen great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty (Byrd) McGuire.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15th at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15th at Searcy-McEuen Chapel with burial following at Henderson Cemetery.
