Doris Eloise Wenger

Doris E. Wenger, 78, passed away August 29, 2012 at her residence with her loving family at her side. She was born at home on February 20, 1934 to the late Jesse Oscar Martin and Irene Ellen Martin.

Mrs. Wenger enjoyed life. Many of her passions include cooking and dancing. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved to travel. She was also a Charter Member at Temple Baptist Church. She cherished her dog Dolly and treasured her time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Paul Wenger; one daughter, Lisa Green, one brother, Joel Martin and two sisters, Sindie and Mildred.

She is survived by her three sons; Larry Green (Jamie) of Conway, Clifford Green (Janet) of Harrison and Marty Green (Nancy) of Little Rock; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Union Grove Cemetery in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas.
