Dortha Mae Brown

Dortha Mae Brown, 90, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020.  She was born on October 20, 1930 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Willie and Maudie (Perkins) Cockrell.

Dortha was a hard worker and known as a people person.  She enjoyed dancing and would go three or four times a week.  Dortha loved her grandchildren.  She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church.  Dortha also was an avid gardener.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons; Gary McKinney of Searcy, Terry McKinney (Sarah) of McRae, and Billy McKinney (Yevette) of Searcy, one daughter; Martha Wank of Newport, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Dortha is preceded in death by one son; Robert McKinney, one daughter; Shirley Edmondson, and ten of her siblings.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 28, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery.
