Eathel Mae Reddick, 85, of Searcy went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, March 12th at Unity Health Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1931 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Walter and Emma (Saxton) Scritchfield.
Mae was very kind, compassionate, and loving. Mae deeply loved all her family. She treasured her children and cherished her grandchildren. She was well loved by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish Mae’s memory is three sons, Virgil “JR” Brown (Laura), Marvin Brown, and Chuck Brown (Jennifer) all of Searcy; three daughters, Deborah Wyatt of Searcy, Sharon Tharp Hughes (Shawn) of Searcy, and Clara Clark (Ed) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; twenty-two grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Reddick; one daughter, Teresa Cromley; two brothers, Audrey and Tommy Scritchfield; and three sisters, Isabelle Durham, Anna Jane “Janie” Pate, and Clara Dell Foster.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 14th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Searcy-McEuen Chapel with Bro. Ed Chapman officiating.
Burial will follow at Henderson Cemetery.
