Edgar Moody

Edgar Moody Jr., 86, of Searcy passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. He was born June 10, 1928 to the late Edgar H. and Genevieve L. Fox Moody in Grant Town, West Virginia.

Edgar was a member of the Kensett Methodist Church. He was also a Master Mason at Tuckerman Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Virginia Moody of Searcy; two sons, Larry Moody (Kathryn) of Osage Beach, Missouri and William "Bill" Moody (Cherie) of Tampa, Florida; six grandchildren, Starla Harper (Scott), Melissa Barroso (JR), Shelley Olschefski (Michael), Paige Moody, Kristin McClusky, and Jordan McClusky.
In addition to his parents Edgar was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene A. Moody; and one sister, Connie A. Followell.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Kensett United Methodist with interment following at White County Memorial Gardens.
