Eldon Howard Stracener

Eldon Howard Stracener of Searcy, passed away at the age of 84 on January 15, 2022, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital. He was born September 6, 1937, in Center Hill to the late P.G. and Florence Stracener. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings O’Dell Brinkley, Achel Cato, Don Stracener and Trula Mendonca and his son Dennis. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mary and his children, Paula Volpe (Joe), Douglas Stracener and Justin Stracener (April). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kelli, D.J., Shane, Carri, Michael, Matthew, John, Ashly, Morgan, Hannah and Luna, and one great-grandchild, Makayla. Our Dad had a huge heart, was kind to all who knew him and could fix anything. We will miss him, his smile and advice. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 22 at McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy. Visitation from 10 to 11 am. Service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Harmony Cemetery.
