Eleanor Louise Georg Loyd Padden

Eleanor Louise Georg Loyd Padden of North Little Rock left this earth for a seat at the feet of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 23, 2023. Eleanor was born August 10, 1938, in Accident, Maryland to Arnold and Marie Georg.

Eleanor loved Jesus and she served him throughout her life. She taught her children to believe in Jesus through her actions and words.  She was the church secretary and filled in as organist for 25 years.  She loved scrapbooking, making greeting cards for her loved ones. She loved playing cards and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Judy, and her first husband John.

Left to remember her are her husband Jim Padden, her brother Floyd (Connie) of Accident Maryland as well as 4 children, Liz McCoy (Billy), Tim Loyd (Stephana), Kathy (Chuck), Chris (Susan) and 5 bonus children, Sharon Knippenberg (Mark), Elizabeth Kennedy (Robert), Margaret Patterson (David), Michael Padden (Patricia), and Tracy Nolley (James). She also left 12 grandchildren and 20 bonus grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League or her home church, Hope Lutheran Church in Jacksonville.

Visitation will be held at 9:00am, Monday January 30 followed by a service at 11:00am at Hope Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, AR.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
