Elouise Navada “Hunter” Davis, 90, passed from this life, July 2, 2018. She was born to the late Evertt and Bessie Benton on June 20, 1928, in Plesant Grove, Arkansas.
Elouise is survived by two sons; Charles D. Hunter (Katie) and Shelby Gearl Hunter, one daughter; Virginia Lee Spradlin (David), one brother; Coy Benton, six grandchildren; Fondarosa L. Curvin (Jeff), Shelma Winningham (Larry), Cindy Hunter, Wyatt Hunter, Shawn Collins (Sky), and Wade Hunter, five great-grandchildren; Shelbey Winningham, Hannah Hunter, Destini Collins, Shawn Jr. Collins, and Josh Winningham (Sara), two great-great-grandchildren; Elizabeth Winningham and Luke Winningham.
Elouise was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved praying and going to church. Elouise worked for General Foods (Bird’s Eye Foods) for 20 years and after that at ITT Higby. She spent her later years as a caregiver for others until the age of 77. Elouise enjoyed conversing with people. She cherished visiting her family and friends. Elouise will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Elouise is preceded in death by her husband; Woodberry W. Hunter, one son; Alva Gene Hunter, and four brothers; Travis Benton, Max Benton, Lynnwood Benton, and Dickie Benton.
