Eugene Merle Swanson

Eugene "Gene" Merle Swanson, 74, went to be with the Lord February 5, 2008.
He was born in Courtney, North Dakota to the late David and Signe Swanson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Pete, Donald and Stienard Swanson. Mr. Swanson was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Milford, Nebraska.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Hoft Swanson, three sons, Clay Swanson and his wife Sandy of Kensett, Miles Swanson of Judsonia, David Swanson of Lincoln, Nebraska; two daughters, Colleen Aken of Omaha, Nebraska, Deborah Swanson of Kensett; two brothers, David and Darrell Swanson, and sister, Marcella Teague and eight grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, February 9, at 10:00 AM at the Gravel Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Gravel Hill Community with interment following at Gray cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home, Searcy, Arkansas. www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com
