Eva Lee Neal

Eva Lee Neal, age 81 of Searcy, went to be with the Lord January 30, 2008. She was born May 22, 1926 in Quitman, Arkansas to the late Robert and Lura Mae Liles Evans. She is preceded in death by one son, Sammy Gene Neal, and a sister, Ruth McDaniel. She was a loving Mother, homemaker, and of the Assembly of God faith at the time of her departure.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Neal of Judsonia and David Neal of Springdale; two daughters, Linda Hughes of Searcy, and Kathy Stone of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. She also left four brothers, Billy Joe Evans of Sterling, Virginia; Robert Liles Evans of Van Buren, Arkansas; Donald Evans and Edwin Evans both of Wynne, Arkansas; and one sister, Iva Mae Neal of Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition, she leaves thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grand children, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be Friday February 1st from 6-8 PM at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas. Services will be held at the First Assembly of God at 10 AM Saturday February 2nd in Searcy, Arkansas. Interment will be at Gum Springs Cemetery in Searcy, Arkansas.
