Everett Wayne Stephens

Everett Wayne Stephens, age 51 of Elberta, Alabama previously of Searcy died Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Elberta. He was born April 1, 1957 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Herbert Stephens and Ruby (Waggle) Stephens Phillips.

Wayne was a brick mason for many years in the Searcy area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna Stephens and his brother William Stephens.

He is survived by his fiance', Sheryl Turner of Elberta, AL.; his children, Kimberly Hatch of Westminster, TX, Jason Stephens of Seattle, WA, Heather Alcala of Bradford; his brothers, Thelbert (Carol) Stephens of Cabot, Frank ( Sue) Stephens of Higginson, Arther (Susie) Stephens of Pottsville, Robert Stephens of Bradford, James Phillips of Rosebud and Floyd "Junior" Waggle of McRae; his sisters, Bertha Tucker of McRae, Brenda Stephens of Searcy and Glenda (Arnold) Light of Bradford; his grandchildren, Brianna Hatch, Jaden Alcala, Justin Alcala and Mason Stephens; his best buddy, "Stripes" his cat; numerous other relatives, and friends surrounding Searcy and also in the Elberta, Alabama area.
