Gary Ronald Doyle, 78, of Pangburn, died Monday, January 1, 2024. He was born May 27, 1945 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Riley Ray Doyle and Ava Nell (Condray) Doyle. Gary retired from Eaton in 2007 and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Gary was also very active in his community and took great pride in Pangburn, having been elected as Mayor and serving on the city council numerous times. Pangburn First Baptist Church was his home church as he was a long-time member and a deacon for 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara (Rains) Doyle; sons, Ronnie Doyle and wife Nicole and Gregory Doyle and wife Misty; 5 grandchildren, RJ Doyle, Matthew Doyle, Mason Doyle, Samuel Williams, Tristan Williams, and Abby Pierce; 3 great-grandchildren, Aria Pierce, Mieson Pierce, and Theodore Doyle; 3 siblings, Carthel Doyle, Gwen Dunham and Sharon McCullum; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Becky Doyle.
Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Pangburn First Baptist Church with services to begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Henderson Cemetery.
