Gayle Beverly Farrell

Gayle Hauser Farrell, 84, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 14th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Gayle was born March 20, 1940, in Mattawan, New Jersey. She married Charley Farrell on May 16th, 1959, and enjoyed 65 years of marriage. Her life was focused on caring for her home and raising her two daughters, Denise and Donna. She moved with her family to Holiday, Florida in 1972 and to Searcy, Arkansas in 1995.

She enjoyed sewing and serving her church community. She served as secretary for the First Christian Church and regularly volunteered at the Good Samaritan Center in Searcy. Her favorite events were family get-togethers where meals would be followed by laughter over games of dominos. Her home was always open to anyone whether they needed a place to stay or just to sit and chat.

Remaining to cherish Gayle’s memory are her husband, Charley Farrell; her daughters, Denise Barror with husband Bill Barror of Springhill, Florida and Donna Freeman with husband Randy Freeman of Searcy, Arkansas; her grandsons Kyle Freeman with wife Mimi Freeman of Somers, New York; Chad Freeman with wife Emily Freeman of Texarkana, Texas; Justin Rintz with wife Janice Rintz of Austin, Arkansas; and Nicholas Freeman with wife Breanna Freeman of Parker, Colorado; her great-grandchildren Grace Freeman (Chad and Emily), Jacob Freeman (Kyle and Mimi), and Bradley Rintz (Justin and Janice.)

Gayle is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Gerald Hauser. Visitation will be held at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial Services will be held at the same on Thursday, February 27th at 11am.
