Gilbert Clyde Dawkins

Clyde Dawkins, age 75, of Higginson went to be with his Lord on June 26, 2008. Clyde was born March 10, 1933 to the late W.J. and Irene (Atkins) Dawkins. He was a member of the Higginson Baptist Church.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, and one son Jerry Dawkins.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Dawkins, children, Terry and Jennifer Dawkins, David Dawkins, Eva and Roger Boyles; grandchildren, Courtney and Nathan Boyles, Jordyn and Evans Dawkins. He is also survived by four siblings: W.J. Dawkins Jr., Elowese Decker, Lynn and Doug Dawkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Higginson First Baptist Church building fund.
