Glenn Abbott

Glenn Wayne Abbott, 63, of Searcy, went home to be with his Lord and Savior January 30, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born March 25, 1948 in Benton to the late A.G. and Murl Edwards Abbott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Michelle Abbott.

Prior to retiring, Mr. Abbott was employed with Coca-Cola for thirty-five years.

He is survived by two sons, Sean Micheal Abbott (wife Kelly) of Benton, and Justin Wayne Abbott of Searcy; one brother, Johnny Abbott (wife Diane); two sisters, Catherine Holleman (husband Randell) and Brenda Ballard (husband John) all of Searcy; three grandsons, as well as a host of other family and friends.

His wit and charm will be missed by all who knew him.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, February 1 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Bethel Cemetery.
