Glenn Alva Belew

Glenn Alva Belew, age 90, died September 12, 2007. He was born September 11, 1917 in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas to the late Milburn and Elzada Rice. He served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII veteran. He was a member and elder of Romance Church of Christ. He retired from the Postal Service after 32 years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bethel Lorene Belew of Romance; two sons, Ronnie Belew of Heber Springs and George Ellis Belew of Little Rock; a daughter, Lee Ann and husband Lee Farrar; five Grandchildren, Caitlin and Elissa Farrar, Clark, Kyle and Megan Belew; and one Great Grandchild, Lane Belew. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Bernice Conder Caruthers.
