Glenn Griffin, 82, of Searcy, died April 9, 2011 at his residence. Mr Griffin was born August 6, 1928 in Pangburn, Arkansas to the late Golden Euegene and Bessie Lena Reddick Griffin.
Mr. Griffin was a retired truck driver for Wal-Mart and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Searcy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wade Griffin.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Griffin is his loving wife of 22 years, Nella Allen Griffin; four daughters, Glenda Hurley and husband John of Blytheville, Arkansas, Becky Turnbo and husband George of West Memphis, Arkansas, Pam Andelman and husband Bill of Benton, Arkansas, and Sherry Darr of Steele, Missouri; three step-sons, Wayne Massingill and wife Barbara, Sam Collins Jr. and wife Sheri, Ron Snyder and wife Gail all of Searcy; two step-daughters, Rhonda Gillham and husband Mike of Searcy, and Pam Hodges and husband Thomas of Farmington, Arkansas; one sister, Mary Froud of St. Louis, Missouri, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, April 12 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God in Searcy with Pastor Vernon Ables officiating.
Interment will follow in Henderson Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
