Harlon Ray Langley of Joy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2012. He was born July 30, 1937, to Brady "Midge" and Ethel Mae Cowgill Langley. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nelta Langley and brother Gary Langley.
Harlon was like a rough cut diamond; rough on the outside but a jewel on the inside. He was a hard worker, even after retirement, he maintained steady work. He enjoyed playing dominos, dancing and Nascar. We know that Harlon has gone to be with the Lord because he was taught at an early age by his parents the importance of church and making sure your heart is right with God. We are sure that when his soul got to heaven, he had a reunion with Midge, Ethel Mae, Gary and Nelta and then asked them where the nearest domino hall was at.
He is survived by five children, Natalie (Gene) Varnell of Judsonia, Carol Key of Searcy, Jeff (Karen) Langley of Joy, Raymond Langley of Searcy and Tiffany (Randall) Crossen of Searcy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, brothers Bill Langley of Joy, Louie (Gloria) Langley of Morrilton, Roger Langley of Conway, Terry (Debbie) Langley of Pottsville, sisters Ann (Dale) Wortham of Pangburn, Reva (Mark) Penny of Tulsa, Ok, and Marilyn (Richard) Goff of Searcy, Aunt Irene Fuller of Searcy and Uncle Lanie (Vonnie) Langley of Searcy and many nieces and nephews.
