Helen Shelton

Helen Shelton, 76, of Searcy, passed from this life Friday, July 5, 2013. She was born June 15, 1937 in Water Valley, Mississippi to the late Nathaniel and Viola Pearson Reese.
She was a member of Kensett Church of Christ where she served on the Usher Committee. She was known for her loving kind nature, and special interest with the youth.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Shelton; one daughter, Linda Shelton Smith; four brothers, Levon, Aaron, Herbert and Hubert Reese.
Her memory will be forever cherished by two sisters, Ella Reese Jones and Clara Reese Rodriguez; a brother, William Reese; and a special loved one, Althea Hayes and family; as well as many other extended family and friends.
A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel.
