“Helen” was a friend to all who came in contact with her, and a true servant. She was active with her husband, Lewis, at Harding Place where they met, and together they planted and maintained a rose garden for all the residents to enjoy. Her energy and spirit were contagious! She was a true example of a Christian woman who loved her family and friends abundantly, and was known for her home-made pies and candy that she shared for all occasions. Helen and Lewis shared the last years of her life traveling and taking care of each other.
Visitation will be at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home, located at 2616 S. Main, at 12:30 pm, July 1, 2017, with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 pm.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Justus, Home Health, the rehabilitation staff at The Crossing, Searcy Hospice, and the caregivers at Home Instead. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the scholarship fund at Harding University.
