Hezekiah Alford Parris

Hezekiah Alford "Sonny" Parris 71 of Bald Knob left this world the morning of July 7, 2008. He peacefully left his home of natural causes after winning a long battle that lasted about ten years. He was born February 18, 1937 in Carbon Hill Alabama. He was a self employed retired auto body mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Iduma Parris, two brothers Edgar and Billy Parris, and three sisters, Wilma Mason, Bessie Needham and Patricia Bryan.

Survivors include his loving wife Barbara Parris of fifty two years; two sons, Christopher Parris of Bald Knob and Alford Kerry Nolan of Granite City, Ill. Other children include Billy Davis and wife Tina, Gina Weatherly, and Jeff Ladd all of Searcy; Cyndi Dunaway and husband Randy of Beebe; and Jack Young of Granite City, Ill. Grandchildren include Tyler Weatherly, Brandon Young, Billy Davis Jr, and Ashley Davis all of Searcy. His four sisters; Mildred Rains of Michigan, Barbara Maples and husband BJ, and Shirlie Wise of Granite City Ill.; and Carolyn Benton and husband DC of Searcy.
