Howard Lane Smith, 82, of Pangburn, passed from this life June 18, 2012. He was born May 22, 1930 in Clay, Arkansas to the late Howard and Mabel Smith.
He was a loving father and grandfather; and cherished his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, as well camping trips with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Mae Nunley Smith; two sisters; one step-sister; and one step-brother.
He is survived by one son, Paul Kell and wife Tammy of Heber Springs; one step-son, Donnie Kell of Holly Springs; three step-daughters, Cheryl James of Pangburn, Darlene Ellis of Pangburn, and Debra Sparks of Holly Springs; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23 in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Henderson Cemetery.
