Ima Jean Tooley, 67, of Searcy, passed away peacefully Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born September 26, 1944 in Grubbs, Arkansas to the late Oliver W. Brown and Bonnie E. Wilbanks Brown.
Mrs. Tooley was a member of First Baptist Church in Kensett where she loved to sing in the choir. In addition she loved her flowers, she loved to garden. She especially loved to play with her grandchildren..
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bobby Tooley; one son Donald Bowen of Freemont, Nebraska; three daughters Tina Milligan of Olive Branch, Mississippi; Melody Kapla of Hudsonville, Michigan; and Michele Roe of Augusta, Michigan; one brother Leon Brown of Springdale, Arkansas; two sisters Ivaughn Rucker of Troy, Missouri; and Maxine Whitehead of Searcy, Arkansas; and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two brothers.
Visiting hours will be held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 9th at the First Baptist Church of Kensett.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 9th at the First Baptist Church of Kensett with interment following at Gum Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to the First Baptist Church of Kensett building fund.
