Iris Marie Neblett, 72, of Searcy, died April 29, 2012. She was born September 7, 1939 in Memphis, to the late Ira Brady Poore and Lena Mae Slate.
She was a loving mother and cherished her time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, reading a good story, or listening to classical music.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neblett was preceded in death by her husband, William Coulter Neblett Jr. and one sister, Margie Weaver.
She is survived by one son, Jimmie Nelson of California; six daughters, Billie Marie Nelson of Batesville, Jamie Sue Middleton and husband Bill of Siloam Springs, Tammie Joy Skinner and husband Paul of Center Point, Oregon, Wendie Jean Harris and husband Cecil of Searcy, Gail Marie Worley of Searcy; three brothers, George Marvin Poore of Georgia, Robert L. Poore of Nashville, and James Poore of Collierville, Tennessee; one sister, Barbara King of Oregon; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel.
