James Calvin Booker

June 7, 1943 — January 13, 2008

Jim Booker Jr.,64 of Searcy went to be with his Lord January 13, 2008. He was born June 7, 1943. He is the son of the late James Calvin Booker Sr. and Loveta Booker Hudson of Searcy.

He is survived by his mother, his wife Sandy Booker of Searcy, one son James Calvin Booker III of Germany, one daughter Laura Booker of Tulsa, OK, two sisters Sharon Moorman of Memphis, TN and Fran Anderson of Indiana, one step son Shane Thompson of Goose Creek, SC, one step daughter Indy Johnson of Searcy, and one grandson Dakota Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas. Services will be held Wednesday January 16th at 2 PM at Searcy-McEuen Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
