James Robert Durham

James Robert Durham, 88 of Searcy passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at White County Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1924 in Pangburn, Arkansas to the late Charles Royster Durham and Gladie Marsh Durham.
Mr. Durham was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church were he served as a deacon for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nelda Durham; one son, Eric Durham of Fort Smith; one brother, Charles Durham of Pangburn; two sisters, Modene Farley of Little Rock and Charlene Berry of Pangburn; one grandson, Aaron Durham (Emily) of Fort Smith; and two great grandchildren, Oliver and Chloe Durham. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished his family and he will be greatly missed.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date for Mr. Durham at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
