James Lee Blue Haley

James "Blue" Lee Haley, 69, of Higginson passed from this life, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at his home. He was born June 29, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Dorsey and Mary (Swiney) Haley.

Blue was a member of B.A.C.A. (Biker's Against Child Abuse) Chapter 3RC, He loved children. Loved to help them and care for them. He was very passionate about the safety and welfare of children. Blue worked numerous years doing multiple fundraisers. He enjoyed life. During his younger years he enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. Blue's favorite pass time was riding his motorcycle. Blue had an infectious personality. He was the type of individual that once you met him you could never forget him. His laugh was contagious and he always enjoyed making other people laugh. Blue will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 10 years, Annie Haley; the B.A.C.A. family; two daughters, Cindy Cummings of Rose Bud, and Cathy Watson (Joey) of Judsonia; eight grandchildren, Kelly Cleveland (Leland), Bobby Sue Needham (Shannon), Melissa Perry (Jason), Jack Davis, James Davis (Laura), Amy Jo Moody (Brad), Jerry Graham (Tonya), and Crystal Steel; and sixteen great grandchildren.
