Jane Miller Murdaugh

Jane Miller Murdaugh, age 77, of Searcy, died May 15, 2007. She was born November 8, 1929 at Plainview to the late Emmett and Maude (Marsh) Miller. She was retired from International Shoe Company and was a member of the Pineview Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her family and friends, going to church and collecting hummingbird figurines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Murdaugh in 1991; five brothers, Junior, Leon, Ed, Neal and Jimmie Miller; and two sisters, Eloise Joyner and Mildred Douglas.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Steward and husband Don and Karen Middleton and husband Troy; two grandchildren, Mira and Sam Middleton, all of Searcy; two sisters, Carnell Gasaway of Beebe and Linda Miller of Searcy; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Chapel. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery.
