Jean Overstreet

Iva Jean Overstreet, 92, of Searcy passed away, Tuesday, February 1^st at Providence Assisted Living. Jean was born April 9, 1929, in Enright, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Fern (Sales) Underwood.

Jean was devoted to playing the piano and singing. She also loved gardening and canning. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, two sons, Tony Overstreet (Joan) of Searcy, and Jeff Overstreet (Natalie) of Georgetown; five daughters, Judy Melton (Jim) of Searcy, Pam Danto of Liddell, Louisiana, Vicky Grady of Romance, Chana Overstreet (Johnny) of Searcy, and Letty Fuller (Kenny) of Searcy; one sister, Nancy Gilbert (Philip) of Floyd; twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by one sister, Jackie.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 7^th at Searcy McEuen Chapel with burial at Georgetown Cemetery.
